another great Spike and Xander story. I love that you had Spike lose part of his past and we were able to see him as William. Wonderful protrayal of the characters and of course the yummy bits were sexy and steamy.

Oh, you've brought tears to my eyes, that was so beautiful and tender and sad. Thank you.

Ch. 3 Poor William. I really like him. I only hope he doesn't start reciting poetry. Gak!

Ch. 5 Again with the simultaneous jerk-offs! That's so great; I love it when you write those. :)

Ch. 7 Two men taking tea together...hmmmm. You know, back in England, places where homosexuals hung out were once called teahouses. Makes you think, doesn't it? ;)

Ch. 8 I like the idea of a polite, well-mannered William as opposed to a posturing, arrogant swaggering loudmouth like Spanky is supposed to be. Call me old-fashioned, but I never saw manners as a sign of being mealy-mouthed. Too bad we can't have Spanky's toughness and William's sweetness. It'd be a great combo.

Ch. 10 Goodness, what can I say? I've read intense Xander/Spike smut before now but very little that's as compelling as this. You're going on my list as one of my favorite X/S writers. Whoo, sticky drawers, gotta go change. :P

Ch. 12 Goodness, this is such a sad ending. But the poignancy of it doesn't detract from the rest of your wonderful tale. I look forward to more X/S stories from you in the future.
